In April, Forbes released its inaugural list of Best-in-State CPAs , and LG&H is honored to announce that Partner Leslie J. Tlumac was recognized.
This Best-In-State List identifies 1,000 of the finest CPAs from across all 50 states. “Best-in-State CPAs list—highlights the finest in the profession: CPAs with impressive track records in their specialties, who have broken barriers to emerge as leaders in their fields, have contributed to advancing the CPA profession, and have given back to society,” according to Forbes.
The Best-in-State CPA award is based on a multi-stage process of Forbes’ editorial research and evaluation. Candidates are rated on achievements, professional honors, influence on the profession, performance, thought leadership, and community service.
Leslie had a prior career in running for-profit businesses and in financial management of nonprofits before switching gears to become a CPA. Since that career switch, Leslie co-founded a Bangor based entrepreneurship conference, Blitz Bangor, later turned over to Upstart Maine to carry on. Additionally, Leslie has volunteered with several nonprofit organizations.
Leslie’s client focus is on businesses and their owners, but she is truly proud to be a part of an amazing team that works with individuals, municipalities, estates and trusts.
